You can do a perfect job on a boiler and still look like a cowboy if what follows is a scribbled note or a message with a photo attached. The work was professional. The record needs to look it.

And for landlords and letting agents, the record is the product. They are not paying for your time, they are paying for a document they can file.

What Maintivo does on a plumbing job

Pick the job type, enter the client and site once, then log each problem you found: a photo of the fault, a description, and the next move. Corroded valve, leaking union, seized pump. It goes straight into the record with the picture attached.

The customer signs on the glass. The branded PDF is ready to send before you have loaded the van. If you want to bill it, an admin turns that signed report into a branded invoice in a few taps.

Evidence, not arguments

Photos in the report are how you avoid the awkward conversation three weeks later about what state the system was in when you arrived. The before photo is in the document, with a timestamp, signed by the customer.

When a landlord rings asking for a copy of something you issued fourteen months ago, it is a search, not a hunt. Every signed report and photo is stored against the client and site, backed up and audit-ready.

Small enough for a one-van business

Then Maintivo puts the appliance in your asset register with its next-due date. On iPhone the owner can get a notification at ninety days, at thirty days and again when it is overdue (optional, switched on in Settings). On the web, what is due shows on the dashboard. A landlord's CP12 stops being something you find out about from the landlord.

Say it, don't type it

On iPhone, hold the button and describe what you found in your own words. It runs on Apple's on-device recogniser, so your voice never leaves the phone and it still works in a boiler cupboard with no signal. You can dictate into the findings; you cannot dictate into a reading. Numbers you enter yourself, deliberately.

And then get paid for it
