What the app does on a gas safety visit

Open the Boiler Gas Safety Record form and add the premises and the landlord or agent details. For each appliance you record the type, location, make, model, serial number and flue type, then the regulation 26(9) safety checks: effectiveness of the flue, supply of combustion air, operating pressure or heat input, safe functioning of the appliance and the gas tightness test, ending with whether the appliance is safe to use. A combustion analysis section takes the analyser, gas rate, inlet pressure, CO, CO₂, CO/CO₂ ratio, O₂ and flue gas temperature, and a Benchmark commissioning section covers the flush to BS 7593, cleaner and inhibitor, flow and return temperatures, interlock and the controls demonstration. If you have to issue a warning notice, its serial number, whether the appliance was disconnected and the tenant's signature for it are on the form too. Sections that do not apply are hidden, and you can photograph anything that needs a picture. The customer signs on the glass, and when you save, a branded PDF with your logo is ready for the owner or an admin to share or email.
