We build for the people kneeling in boiler cupboards
Everyone wants to build software for other founders. Maintivo is built for the engineer at the end of a long day, standing in a plant room, who still has the write-up to face. Our whole job is to make that job disappear.
Admin is the silent tax on every trade
The work takes an hour; the paperwork takes the evening. The job wraps at four and the write-up keeps you up past nine, retyping in the van what you already wrote on site, hunting for the photo you know you took, redoing a record you can't find.
We think that's backwards. The most professional thing a trade can do is hand the customer a tidy, branded report while still on site, proof the job is genuinely done. So we built Maintivo to capture the inspection once, where the work happens, and produce the record for you.
No training day. No second pass. No admin pile waiting at home.

It began with one conversation, not a business plan
Maintivo didn't start in a boardroom. Our founder got talking to the owner of Mainteniq, a busy London property-maintenance firm running boilers, HIUs and air-con across the capital. The work was never the problem. The paperwork was.
The jobs wrapped by late afternoon, but the write-ups, the records and the chasing dragged on into the evening, night after night. So we set out to make their job easier, and built the thing they wished existed: capture the job once, on site, and walk away with the branded report already sent.
We built it for Mainteniq first, real jobs, real engineers, real plant rooms, and they've run on it ever since. The difference isn't just tidier paperwork. It's the evenings back: fewer late nights at the desk, more time for family, dinner and a proper weekend.
That's the whole point of Maintivo: give the trades their time back, and build it for the people actually kneeling in the boiler cupboard.
Principles we build by
Capture once, on site
If you have to write it twice, we've failed. Everything is recorded where the numbers and photos are, then never re-entered.
No tool should feel like a job
If software adds to the pile instead of clearing it, it isn't a tool, it's another task. Maintivo has to earn its place by removing work.
Made for teams of 1–10
We're not building for enterprise IT departments. We build for small crews who need it to work on the first job, with no manual.
