We would rather tell you plainly than promise a date. The Xero connection is being planned and built. When it is ready it will be announced here and in the app, and this page will say exactly what it does.
What the link is for
Maintivo is where the job happens: the report, the photos, both signatures, the equipment register and, with the optional add-on, the invoice. Xero is where the accounts live. The connection is meant to stop the same details being typed twice, once in each.
What you can do today
- Bring your Xero customers in. Export your contacts from Xero as a CSV or Excel file, then import the file on the iPhone or in the web app. Maintivo matches the columns for you and you can undo it for 24 hours.
- Send your invoices on. With the invoicing add-on, an invoice made from a signed report can be downloaded or sent as a PDF.
- Take your client list with you. Export it as a spreadsheet from the iPhone or the web app whenever you want.

Not yet. A Xero connection is coming soon, so that Maintivo and your Xero account stay in step. It is in development and there is no release date yet. This page will be updated when it is ready.
Yes. Export your contacts from Xero as a CSV or Excel file and import the file on the iPhone (Clients, then Import from a spreadsheet) or in the web app (Clients, then Import clients). Maintivo works out which column is which and shows you only the rows that need a look. Nothing is saved until you press Import, and you can undo it for 24 hours.
With the optional invoicing add-on, every invoice can be downloaded or sent as a PDF, and your client list can be exported as a spreadsheet. Until the Xero connection is ready, anything you want in Xero has to be entered there or imported from those files.
No. Reports, photos, signatures and the equipment register work on their own, and invoicing is an optional add-on. Maintivo does not do your accounts; that stays in Xero or whichever accounts software you use.
